SAINTS ROW 4 Goes Superhuman – Announcement Trailer Released!

With THQ’s struggling situation, the future of Saints Row IV has been an uncertain one. Today, Deep Silver and Volition released the announcement trailer for the game. I would try and sum it up but… just watch for yourselves:

The Saints Row franchise has always taken a bit more of a liberal stance with certain things like physics, reality and sex than it’s contemporary Grand Theft Auto. Well it looks like the fourth iteration is taking things to a whole other level of bat shit crazy. And we can’t wait.

There are few games that offer as fun a sandbox to mess around in (particularly on those lazy hang-over days) than the Saints Row games and with a healthy dose of superpowers, things just got a bit more interesting.

Deep Silver announced that the game will be coming on August 20th in the US and the 23rd in other territories and will be hitting the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. There’s no word on a WiiU version at this time. Until then we’ll get back to firing our mind controlling octopuses at innocent civilians…
